Backend Engineer Java

You are a highly motivated and skilled backend Engineer with a strong background in Java backend development and 2-3 years of experience. You will be joining our dynamic team and should possess expertise in Java development, particularly with Spring Boot, SQL, Kafka, and API integrations. The role demands excellent problem-solving abilities and a readiness to work on a night shift schedule. Your responsibilities will include providing technical support for backend systems developed using Java and Spring Boot, designing, developing, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems, diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to enhance development practices. To excel in this role, you must have 2-3 years of professional experience in Java backend development, strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Spring Boot, proficiency in SQL and NOSQL database design/management, experience with Kafka for data streaming and messaging, a solid understanding of RESTful API design and development, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, analytical skills, and strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred skills include experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), knowledge of microservices architecture, exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
