Backend Engineer GoLang Specialist

As a highly skilled and motivated Backend Engineer GoLang Specialist with expertise in GoLang, you will play a crucial role in our engineering team. Your responsibilities will include designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend services and APIs within a microservices architecture. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure components that support cloud platforms, cost management, and operational efficiency. Your key responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and deploying backend services and APIs using GoLang in a production environment. You will also be responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable, and efficient microservices and distributed systems. Additionally, you will implement RESTful APIs, integrate with various internal and external systems, and work with PostgreSQL and other relational databases to ensure data integrity and performance. Collaboration with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to define, design, and ship new features will be essential. Ensuring high-quality code through software engineering best practices, such as code reviews, testing, and CI/CD, will also be part of your role. Furthermore, managing cloud-based services and understanding the cost implications of infrastructure decisions will be crucial. The required skills and qualifications for this role include: - 5+ years of hands-on experience with GoLang in production environments. - Strong knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and distributed systems. - Solid experience with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL. - Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP and understanding of cost management concepts. - Proficiency with tools such as Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. - Strong understanding of software engineering principles and development best practices. - Experience integrating with APIs for billing, monitoring, or infrastructure management is a plus.
