Job Description

About the Role

Backend Developer

Youll work closely with our frontend, mobile, and DevOps teams to deliver high-availability, high-performance APIs and cloud-native services.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain
Node.js (Express.js)
-based REST APIs and microservices.
Build secure, reusable, and well-documented service modules.
Write optimized
PostgreSQL
queries, schema designs, and stored procedures.
Manage data caching and session management using
MongoDB / Redis
.
Integrate with Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for notifications.
Implement and manage file storage via
AWS S3
or
Google Cloud Storage
.
Deploy containerized services using
Docker
on
AWS Elastic Beanstalk / Google Cloud Run
.
Configure and optimize
Nginx
for API load balancing and routing.
Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes.
Use
Grafana / Prometheus
or equivalent tools for monitoring and alerting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (frontend, QA, DevOps) for end-to-end delivery.

Required Skills

Strong proficiency in
Node.js (Express / NestJS)
.
Solid understanding of
PostgreSQL
and relational data modeling.
Familiarity with
MongoDB
or other NoSQL systems.
Experience with
RESTful API design
and
microservice architecture
.
Hands-on knowledge of
Docker
,
Nginx
, and
AWS / GCP
environments.
Exposure to
Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM)
or similar messaging frameworks.
Understanding of
Git workflows
, version control, and CI/CD pipelines.
Good debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

Experience in
Redis

GraphQL
, or
WebSockets
.
Familiarity with
TypeScript
in Node.js projects.
Knowledge of
Cloud monitoring tools
(Grafana, Prometheus).
Understanding of
WCAG/ADA accessibility
