Backend Developer (Node.js)

As a Backend Engineer at CodeChavo, you will be responsible for developing scalable, high-performance backend services. You will work closely with MongoDB to integrate backend services with the frontend via APIs. Additionally, you will design and develop event-driven systems using AWS services such as Lambda, SQS, EC2, and Load Balancers. Your expertise will be crucial in implementing a microservices architecture for scalable, loosely coupled services. You will also play a key role in debugging production and staging issues, as well as actively participating in deployments. To excel in this role, you must possess a strong background in Node.js and building REST APIs. Experience with MongoDB and proficiency in asynchronous programming patterns are essential. Knowledge of microservices architecture and hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda and SQS will be highly beneficial. Your ability to effectively debug and troubleshoot production issues, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, startup-like environment will be essential to your success. In addition to the above qualifications, experience with Express.js, EC2, and Load Balancers will be advantageous.
