Backend Developer - Java

SmartHub.ai is looking for a talented and motivated Backend Developer to join the team. As a Backend Developer, your main responsibility will be to develop and maintain the backend systems of our cutting-edge IoT platform. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to create scalable, high-performance, and secure backend services. This role necessitates a solid foundation in Java and backend technologies, focusing on microservices, APIs, and database management. Your key responsibilities will include developing, maintaining, and optimizing backend services for our IoT platform. You will work with various teams to translate product requirements into scalable backend solutions. Additionally, you will implement RESTful APIs and ensure seamless integration with frontend and other services. Writing clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices is essential. Designing and optimizing database schemas, queries, and transactions will also be part of your role to maintain the performance, scalability, and security of backend systems. Participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging processes to enhance software quality, working in an Agile environment, and contributing to the continuous improvement of engineering processes will be expected from you. This is a full-time position located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The work schedule is Monday to Friday. Applicants should be able to reliably commute or be willing to relocate before starting work. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in backend development.
