Zymo is your trusted companion in the world of mobility, making car rental as easy as a walk in the park We started with a simple idea and expanded to offer car sales, allowing you to find the perfect ride for both short-term adventures and long-term journeys We provide a variety of vehicles to suit every style and purpose, ensuring hassle-free, affordable experiences for our community of explorers At Zymo, we believe in creating stories and memories behind the wheel, driving into the future together, Were looking for a Backend Developer Intern who is excited to work on real-world projects and scale systems from 0 to 1 You'll work closely with our tech and product teams to build and integrate backend services that power our self-drive rental platform, Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain RESTful APIs using Nodejs and Express Integrate third-party APIs for payments, notifications, and maps Set up and manage Firebase for authentication, database, or cloud functions Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration Write clean, modular, and well-documented code Troubleshoot and debug backend issues Requirements: Strong understanding of JavaScript and Nodejs Experience with Expressjs framework Familiarity with Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions) Knowledge of API integration and JSON-based REST APIs Good problem-solving and communication skills Self-starter mindset with a hunger to learn and grow Good to Have: Understanding of cloud services (GCP, AWS) Exposure to MongoDB or other NoSQL databases Git/GitHub experience Perks: Flexible work hours Real-world startup experience Certificate & letter of recommendation PPO opportunity for top performers
