Backend Developer

As a Backend System Developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable and high-performance backend components for large enterprise-level systems using Node.js. Your primary focus will be on Nest.js to ensure robust and efficient backend development. You will also be tasked with developing and maintaining robust RESTful web services and APIs, facilitating seamless integration with front-end applications and third-party systems. In addition, you will need to integrate and manage multiple data sources and databases, including MySQL and MongoDB, to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and management. Your role will also involve developing cloud-compatible applications, ensuring that solutions are designed for deployment and optimal performance in modern cloud environments. Furthermore, you will play a key role in implementing and managing third-party API integrations and various authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0. You will be responsible for developing backend logic to generate various reports and data for charting, supporting analytical and dashboard requirements. It is crucial to adhere to best practices for code quality, security, and performance, actively participating in code reviews and contributing to architectural discussions. Collaboration is essential in this role, as you will work closely with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver integrated, high-quality solutions. To excel in this position, you should have 3-5 years of professional experience in backend software development with a strong hands-on experience in Node.js, particularly in Nest.js for building backend components of large enterprise-level systems. Expertise in REST API development, third-party API integration, and authentication protocols like OAuth 2.0 is required. Proficiency in relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB) is essential. A good understanding of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, and jQuery will enable effective collaboration with front-end teams. Additionally, familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and experience in developing cloud-compatible applications will be beneficial.
