Backend Architect (MEAN / MERN)

As a Backend Architect at Wekan Enterprise Solutions, you will play a crucial role in driving innovation in the cloud by adopting modern technology solutions to meet performance and availability requirements. We are seeking passionate architects with over 12 years of experience, including at least 3 years as an architect, who are eager to contribute to our growth journey. You will thrive in high-paced and challenging environments, leading technical teams, designing system architecture, and reviewing peer code. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Working on complex data migrations. - Modernizing legacy applications. - Developing new cloud-based applications for large enterprises and growth-stage startups. - Collaborating with business stakeholders, customers" technical teams, and MongoDB solutions architects on mission-critical projects. To excel in this role, you must possess: - Strong problem-solving skills and mentoring capabilities. - Good understanding of the software development life cycle. - Experience in system design and architecture. - Focus on delivering high-quality work. - Effective verbal and written communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders. Key Technical Skills: - Extensive hands-on experience in building high-performance applications using Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) with Nest.js. - Proficiency in other languages like .NET/C#, Java, Golang, or Python. - Strong experience in monolithic and microservices architecture. - Hands-on experience in data modeling with MongoDB (NoSQL) and relational databases. - Familiarity with 3rd party integrations, including authentication and cloud services. - Experience with messaging systems like Kafka or RabbitMQ. - Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines and at least one cloud provider - AWS, GCP, or Azure. - Strong documentation skills. Good to have skills: - Experience with frontend technologies such as React.js, Vue.js, or Angular. - Extensive experience in consulting with customers for defining architecture and system design. - Technical certifications in AWS, Azure, GCP, MongoDB, or other relevant technologies.
