Role Description We are seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineer to join our team on-site in Chennai. This role involves designing mechanical systems, utilizing computer-aided design (CAD) software for system development, participating in research and development (R&D) activities, and performing detailed analysis to enhance product performance. The Mechanical Engineer will also oversee projects, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and contribute to delivering cutting-edge defense technology solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles and practices, with strong problem-solving skills. Experience in Machine Design and Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD. Background in Research and Development (R&D) to innovate and enhance product functionalities. Strong Project Management skills, including the ability to plan, execute, and deliver engineering projects on time and within scope. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration within cross-functional teams. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; a master's degree is a plus. Familiarity with defense technology and associated applications is advantageous.
