As a "BA4 - RFT Data Ops" at Barclays, you will spearhead the evolution of the digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Your role will involve harnessing cutting-edge technology to revolutionize digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences. **Key Responsibilities:** - Identify and prioritize critical data elements requiring quality improvement. - Develop and maintain data quality dashboards and reports to track progress and communicate data quality performance. - Analyze data quality issues and trends, performing root cause analysis to articulate problems clearly. - Develop and implement thematic data quality strategies and policies aligned with the bank's data governance framework. - Triage, prioritize, and determine criticality of data quality issues, managing associated risks, issues, and dependencies. - Recommend and implement data quality improvement technologies and tools, including the use of machine learning. **Qualifications Required:** - Solid understanding of accounting principles and the flow of accounting transactions in a Bank's financial statements. - Understanding of data elements, data lineage, data flow, and their impact on Finance data quality. - Ability to analyze data, identify trends, interpret patterns, and understand interrelationships; proficiency in basic Excel functions is required. - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. - Additional skills include a keen eye for detail, investigative mindset, and ability to troubleshoot issues. - Mandatory skills include accounting knowledge, analytical ability, and data visualization & reporting skills.
