In this role, you will be responsible for various tasks including: - Demonstrating solid knowledge of how IPSEC VPN works. - Having familiarity with the operation of common firewall vendors such as Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco, Juniper, Checkpoint, Dell, etc. - Experience in Azure vWAN network operation, firewall log, VPN logs. - Understanding Routing Intent and Routing Policies in secure Azure vWAN. - Performing packet capture and analysis for advanced troubleshooting. - Assisting customers during VPN troubleshooting. - Setting up an advanced level of monitoring and data collection from remote VPN sites. - Maintaining and updating network documentation to support the team. - Familiarity with Azure/AWS/GCP cloud platforms. - Working on On-Call rotations. - Working independently in a project scenario and recommending solutions by performing POCs. - Strong debugging and analyzing complex issues. - Experience handling P1/P2 calls and escalations. - Writing formal external RCA documentation and presentations. - Passion for delivering timely and outstanding customer service. - Great written and oral communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Basic Qualifications: - 12+ years of overall operational experience. - 7+ years of Network Engineering/Support experience. - 4+ years of experience working in a diverse cloud support environment in a 24*7 production support model. - 3+ years of Network and Automation experience. Preferred Certifications: - CISM, CCNA, or CISA preferred. - Azure Solutions Architect Professional Certification. - Four Year BS/BA in Information Technology degree or equivalent experience.
