We are seeking an experienced Azure Developer with a strong background in C# and .NET. The successful candidate will play a key role in analyzing, re-platforming, and modernizing legacy API and integration platforms and associated tooling, and migrating on-premise infrastructure to Azure cloud as part of a global, dynamic, collaborative team. This role emphasizes both cloud-native development and robust automated testing practices, and so the candidate should demonstrate proven expertise in these areas, including using open-source automation testing technologies like XUnit and Specflow/Reqnroll.
Role Summary:
- As part of a multi-year Cloud Transformation initiative, you will contribute to the design, planning, and delivery of new capabilities within the Azure environment.
- You will work closely with the Architecture Team and Senior Cloud Developer / Team Lead, ensuring all solutions are performant, secure, and scalable.
- A strong focus will be placed on automation, monitoring, logging, and security, leveraging DevOps and CI/CD best practices.
- In addition to the development of the code for the systems, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated test cases using XUnit and Reqnroll to ensure quality and reliability.

- A strong development background in C# within an Azure environment.
- A strong desire to improve existing implementations, and to innovate and introduce new and exciting ways to achieve the project goals.
- They will be good communicators that have an open and transparent style of working, that will enable the whole team to deliver proficiently.
Key Responsiblities:
- Develop highly performant, public-facing REST APIs and system integrations in Azure.
- Document APIs conforming to the Open API 3.x framework.
- Participate in code reviews, design workshops, and story/ticket elaboration.
- Review legacy implementations and collaborate with the architecture team to design and build modern solutions.
- Ensure secure, scalable development, testing, and hosting of the new platform.
- Lead and contribute to the automation of testing and deployments, with a focus on writing and maintaining automated test cases using Reqnroll.
- Collaborate with the Testing Team to integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Continuously improve test coverage, reliability, and efficiency of automated testing processes.
Required Skills:
- C#, Microsoft SQL Server or Azure SQL, Azure CosmosDB, Azure Service Bus, Azure Function Apps, Auth0, WebSockets.
- Strong experience in C# and .NET Core across diverse projects
- RESTful API development and documentation (Open API 3.x / YAML / Swagger)
- Azure environment development, deployment, and support, with a focus on security and authorization
- Performance tuning of APIs and Azure Functions
- Automation testing using technologies like XUnit and Specflow/Reqnroll
- Strong problem-solving skills and commitment to best practices in test automation
- Familiarity with AWS and ElasticSearch is beneficial but not mandatory
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a fast-changing environment, with a passion for continuous improvement
