Role & responsibilities Architect, implement, and manage end-to-end Azure infrastructure solutions , including compute, storage, networking, identity, and security. Lead on-prem to Azure migrations using tools like Azure Migrate and ASR. Design and enforce Azure governance using Blueprints, Policies, RBAC, and naming/tagging strategies. Optimize cloud cost and performance through pricing models, reservations, tagging, and budget alerts . Implement and maintain monitoring and alerting solutions using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, and Azure Sentinel. Integrate Azure with on-premises environments including AD, DNS, File Shares, and VPN/ExpressRoute. Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep, Terraform , and scripting (PowerShell, Bash). Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps for both infrastructure and application deployments. Manage source control, work items, and artifact repositories using Azure Repos, Boards, and Artifacts . Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity across Azure workloads. Collaborate with developers, security teams, and IT operations to ensure end-to-end solution alignment. Provide L3 support and perform root cause analysis for escalated infrastructure or deployment issues. Preferred candidate profile 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 5+ years of hands-on Azure experience . Strong expertise in on-prem infrastructure (Windows/Linux servers, AD, GPO, VMware/Hyper-V). Expert knowledge of Azure IaaS, PaaS, networking, security, identity, and automation . Deep hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts). Strong background in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with ARM, Bicep, Terraform, or similar. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell , Bash ). Strong command of Azure pricing , cost optimization strategies, and FinOps principles. Skilled in setting up hybrid cloud architecture with seamless connectivity and identity federation. Familiar with security and compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, FedRAMP). Experience with monitoring tools and SIEM (e.g., Azure Monitor , Azure Sentinel ). Excellent documentation and troubleshooting skills. Relevant certifications such as: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
