Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (YAML pipelines) for Spring Boot applications.
• Integrate GitHub repositories with Azure DevOps for source control and build automation.
• Implement and maintain JUnit unit tests, enforce JaCoCo code coverage, and integrate integration testing stages into the pipeline.
• Build and optimize Docker images for Java 21 Spring Boot microservices.
• Automate deployment of applications to Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Red Hat OpenShift (OCP).
• Manage deployments via Helm charts or Kubernetes manifests.
• Secure build and release processes using Azure Key Vault or Kubernetes secrets.
• Integrate quality checks, test reports, and coverage reports into pipelines (e.g., publish JaCoCo reports).
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, etc.).
• Collaborate closely with developers and QA engineers to ensure shift-left testing and continuous quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer / Azure DevOps Engineer / Cloud DevOps Specialist.
• Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML-based) and GitHub integration.
• Hands-on experience with Java (preferably Java 21) and Spring Boot applications.
• Expertise in JUnit testing, JaCoCo code coverage, and integrating tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong background in Docker (building and optimizing container images).
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes (AKS and/or OpenShift preferred).
• Familiarity with Helm, Kustomize, or Kubernetes manifests.
• Good understanding of DevOps quality gates (test automation, code coverage thresholds, static analysis tools).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
