As a DevOps Engineer at Casepoint, your role is crucial in ensuring the successful setup and integration of releases into various environments such as staging and production. Your efforts are instrumental in maintaining a high-quality build system and preventing the introduction of untested code into production. Your dedication to researching and implementing new deployment techniques will continuously enhance the build system to meet agile development needs. Additionally, you will collaborate with the development team to identify and resolve any deployment issues, ensuring the success of the product deployment process. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the build process for multiple concurrent releases - Maintain software feature branches using a Source Control System - Participate in deployment and configuration of the application as required - Develop, maintain, and enhance key parts of the deployment and release processes - Design and develop tools, scripts, installation procedures, and systems - Collaborate with Quality Assurance team to ensure the final version meets organizational standards - Configure continuous integration build system through collaboration with development and IT teams - Automate build and deployment processes to evolve the deployment infrastructure - Resolve release-related issues by working with other technical team members - Perform system administration, maintenance, and upgrades of build systems Qualifications Required: - 2-5 years of experience in deployment - Proficiency in DevOps practices - Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment - Familiarity with building Microsoft Web/desktop Applications - Experience in deploying and configuring web-based applications using IIS6 and later - Proficient in source code management systems such as TFVC and GIT - Knowledge of DOS command, MS SQL Server, and code comparison At Casepoint, we believe that an excellent culture leads to excellent products.
