Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Database Design and Development:
Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server databases, including tables, views, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and indexes. Create logical and physical data models.
T-SQL Development and Optimization:
Write, troubleshoot, and optimize complex T-SQL queries and stored procedures for high-volume data environments.
Performance Tuning:
Improve database performance through query tuning, indexing strategies, and configuration enhancements. Monitor resource utilization and resolve bottlenecks.
Database Administration:
Manage backups, restores, disaster recovery, index maintenance, and scheduled SQL jobs. Monitor health and security of SQL environments.
Documentation and Compliance:
Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, and ensure best practices are followed for secure, efficient database operations.
Cloud Platform Expertise (Azure):
Utilize Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and other Azure data services. Apply best practices in deployment, networking, and security.
