Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and optimize

  data pipelines

  using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and related services.
• Develop and maintain

  data lake

  solutions using Azure Data Lake Gen2.
• Implement ETL/ELT processes for structured and unstructured datasets.
  
• Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to deliver high-quality data solutions.
  
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security in all data workflows.
  
• Integrate data from diverse sources into big data platforms for analytics and reporting.
  
• Optimize big data workloads for performance and cost efficiency.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• 510 years of experience in data engineering, with at least 3+ years in Azure cloud services.
  
• Hands-on experience with

  Azure Data Factory, Azure Storage, Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse Analytics

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  big data ecosystems

  (Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka).
• Proficiency in

  SQL, PySpark, and Python

  .
• Experience with

  data lakehouse architectures

  and large-scale data ingestion.
• Understanding of

  data security, governance, and compliance

  in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with

  DevOps practices

  and CI/CD for data pipelines.
