As a Senior DevOps Engineer with a focus on Azure cloud infrastructure, you will play a crucial role in automation, scalability, and ensuring best practices in CI/CD and cloud deployments. Your responsibilities will include managing and modernizing medium-sized, multi-tier environments, establishing efficient CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring the reliability and security of applications and infrastructure. You will lead infrastructure development and operational support in Azure, emphasizing high availability and performance. Utilizing containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes will be essential. Implementing Git best practices, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with tools like Terraform, and following DevSecOps practices for security compliance throughout the development lifecycle will be part of your daily tasks. Monitoring application and infrastructure performance using tools like Azure Monitor, Managed Grafana, and other observability tools will help you maintain the health of the systems. You will collaborate with software development teams to align with DevOps best practices and troubleshoot issues across different environments. Additionally, your role will involve providing leadership in infrastructure planning, design reviews, and incident management while working with multiple cloud platforms, primarily Azure. To excel in this position, you should have at least 5 years of hands-on DevOps experience, strong communication skills, and expertise in Azure cloud services. Proficiency in Kubernetes, experience with web servers like Nginx and Apache, and familiarity with the Azure Well-Architected Framework are essential. Knowledge of monitoring tools, DevSecOps principles, and troubleshooting infrastructure and applications will be crucial for your success. Experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms, performance monitoring, and Azure dashboarding tools will also be beneficial. Preferred qualifications for this role include Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-400 or AZ-104), experience with cloud migration and application modernization, familiarity with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or similar, and leadership or mentoring experience.
