Permanent Remote Opportunity [WFH] Role & responsibilities We are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. You will lead cloud architecture initiatives, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure the successful deployment and optimization of Azure-based systems.Key Responsibilities: Design and architect Azure cloud infrastructure solutions to meet business and technical requirements. Lead cloud migration strategies and implementation plans for applications, data, and services. Ensure cloud solutions meet security, compliance, availability, and scalability standards. Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering and operations teams. Develop and maintain architectural documentation and design standards. Evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies to enhance cloud performance and efficiency. Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment pipelines and monitoring. Optimize cost and performance of cloud resources. Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity strategies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred). 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, with at least 7+ years in Azure cloud architecture roles. Proven experience designing and deploying enterprise cloud solutions on Microsoft Azure. Strong understanding of Azure services (e.g., Azure AD, VMs, App Services, AKS, Functions, Blob Storage, Networking). Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM templates, Bicep, Terraform, or similar. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Strong knowledge of networking, identity management, security, and compliance in Azure. Azure certifications such as AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect Expert) or AZ-104 (Azure Administrator) are highly desirable.
