Azure APIM Engineering Lead

As an Azure APIM Engineer at Dams Consulting, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and managing enterprise-grade API solutions using Microsoft Azure. Your expertise in Azure API Management, cloud-native architectures, and integration strategies will be crucial in leading complex API initiatives across large-scale environments. Your key responsibilities will include leading the design, development, and deployment of APIs using Azure API Management, architecting scalable and secure API solutions aligned with business and technical requirements, managing the full API lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing API security protocols, monitoring API performance and usage metrics, driving automation and CI/CD practices for API deployments, providing technical leadership and mentorship, and ensuring compliance with enterprise integration standards and governance policies. To qualify for this role, you should have 7+ years of experience in software development and integration, 5+ years of hands-on experience with Azure API Management, a strong understanding of RESTful and SOAP APIs, proficiency in Azure services, experience with API gateway policies, familiarity with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, knowledge of security best practices for APIs and cloud environments, and excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Preferred qualifications include Microsoft Azure certifications and experience with hybrid cloud or multi-cloud environments. This is a full-time position with a day shift work schedule located in Mumbai (Preferred), Chennai, or Bangalore.
