Job Description – CNC OperatorPosition Overview The CNC Operator is responsible for operating, cutting, processing, and profiling sheet metal using available CNC equipment in accordance with technical documentation, work orders, and professional qualifications. The role requires strict adherence to ISO 9001 Quality Management and ISO 14001 Environmental Management standards while ensuring precision, safety, and efficiency in production processes. Key Responsibilities Operate CNC machinery for cutting, processing, and profiling sheet metal in line with work orders and technical documentation. Perform process control, self-inspection, and final product quality checks as per instructions and procedures. Ensure proper technical use of machines during and after operations while strictly following workplace safety guidelines. Maintain equipment in good working condition by carrying out preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and participating in equipment overhauls as per the maintenance plan. Report equipment malfunctions, material non-compliance, and dimensional issues to the immediate manager, while suggesting solutions and improvements. Handle and transport raw materials and finished products using material-handling equipment (cranes, forklifts, pallet trucks, carts). Maintain workplace organization, cleanliness, and safety by unloading raw materials, arranging work areas, and ensuring safe working conditions. Support a positive work culture by actively participating in teamwork, maintaining hygiene, and contributing to an organized work and living environment. Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 quality and environmental management procedures, along with professional and legal standards. Take responsibility for the accuracy and quality of manufactured parts in accordance with work orders and documentation. Immediately report material irregularities, production errors, and non-conformities to the manager to prevent further issues. Comply with company safety, health, and environmental policies, and report any work irregularities that may endanger personnel, equipment, or property. Ensure efficient use and safekeeping of company assets, equipment, and tools, and accept responsibility for damages resulting from careless or unprofessional use. Continuously improve knowledge and skills to enhance task efficiency and professional performance. Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Operator or in a similar metal processing/manufacturing role. Strong knowledge of CNC machinery, sheet metal processing, and technical documentation. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Ability to perform quality control, self-inspection, and accurate measurements. Proficiency in handling material movement equipment (cranes, forklifts, pallet trucks). Good problem-solving skills with the ability to suggest process improvements. Strong sense of responsibility, discipline, and adherence to safety standards. Team-oriented mindset with respect for workplace ethics and professional conduct.
