The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering requirements and supplier capabilities, ensuring cost-effective, high-quality, and timely delivery of instruments while mitigating supply chain risks. Key Responsibilities: Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified instrumentation vendors (local & international) for sensors, transmitters, control valves, PLCs, etc.. Technical Sourcing: Collaborate with engineering teams to understand technical specifications, review datasheets, drawings, and supplier submittals (RFQs/RFPs). Negotiation & Contracts: Lead commercial and technical negotiations to secure best value, competitive pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules. Procurement Execution: Prepare Purchase Requisitions (PRs), manage RFQ/RFP processes, and issue Purchase Orders (POs).
