Description
As a Software Engineer at Capgemini, you will have the opportunity to design and develop microservices and backend systems using Java, with a preference for Spring Boot. Your responsibilities will include building and deploying applications on AWS using services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, and API Gateway. You will also implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar technologies to optimize application performance, ensure high availability, and scalability. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, QA, and Product Management, will be essential. Additionally, monitoring and troubleshooting production issues will be part of your daily tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop microservices and backend systems using Java (Spring Boot preferred) - Build and deploy applications on AWS using services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, etc. - Implement CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, or similar tools - Optimize application performance and ensure high availability and scalability - Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Management - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - Monitor and troubleshoot production issues Qualifications Required: - AWS Certification (Developer Associate or Solutions Architect) - Experience with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies - Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack Capgemini is a global business and technology transformation partner with a diverse group of 340,000 team members in more than 50 countries.
