AWS Software Engineer

Role Overview: As an AWS - Software Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality software systems and applications. You will work closely with business users to gather requirements, develop RESTful Web Services and Microservices, and function as a junior-level AWS Architect managing application setup, monitoring, tuning, alerting, and logging. Your role will involve participating in Agile (SCRUM) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) environments, building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, handling integrations, coordinating with cross-functional teams and vendors, evaluating complex issues, mentoring junior engineers, and escalating issues as needed to ensure business continuity. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, implement, and maintain high-quality software systems and applications. - Work closely with business users to gather requirements, resolve issues, and ensure system functionality. - Develop and maintain RESTful Web Services and Microservices. - Function as a junior-level AWS Architect managing application setup, monitoring, tuning, alerting, and logging. - Participate in Agile (SCRUM) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) environments. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab (DevOps practices). - Handle integrations and coordinate with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors. - Evaluate complex issues and determine effective solutions using in-depth analysis. - Mentor junior engineers and potentially coordinate small teams as needed. - Escalate issues when required to ensure business continuity. Qualifications Required: - Strong knowledge of Java Spring Boot and ReactJS (Fullstack Development). - 6+ years of consulting experience on AWS including architecture, setup, monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting. - Experience with Web and Mobile application development. - Familiarity with Azure and SAP BTP is a plus. - Excellent knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitLab. - Sound understanding of Agile and TDD methodologies. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
