Aws Devops Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically proficient DevOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in software development, CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure management, and end-to-end web application testing. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the seamless deployment, performance, security, and usability of our applications across environments.

Key Responsibilities:

1. DevOps Engineering:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex applications and systems with high reliability.
• Write code in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages within software development environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, AWS Code Pipeline.
• Manage containerized environments using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes (EKS/AKS).
• Utilize Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation).
• Develop and manage scripting tools (Shell, Bash, PowerShell) for automation.
• Package applications using Windows packaging tools (.msi).
• Implement and monitor applications using tools like AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, etc.
• Manage and utilize source control tools like Git and SVN, and follow Git workflows.
• Execute and automate testing using Selenium, JUnit, Python, Postman, and SoapUI.

2. Quality Assurance & Testing:

• Review system specifications and client requirements to design and execute test plans.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web applications across multiple browsers and devices.
• Conduct functional, usability, regression, compatibility, performance, and post-deployment testing.
• Identify, report, and track bugs using tools like Jira, Trello, or Click Up.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to reproduce and resolve bugs.
• Ensure websites meet accessibility (WCAG) and SEO standards.
• Document and report QA metrics such as defect density and open issue counts.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in DevOps and/or QA testing.
• Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, DevOps best practices, and performance optimization.
• Hands-on experience with cross-browser/device testing and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Proficient with bug tracking systems and test case management tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience working in both Windows and Linux environments.
