Aws Devops Engineer

Role Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage secure, scalable AWS infrastructure for business applications.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Deploy and manage containerized workloads using Docker, ECS, EKS, and Kubernetes.
• Manage application development and DevOps activities, including planning, task allocation, estimation, and tracking delivery against timelines.
• Work closely with developers, architects, QA, and client stakeholders to improve build, test, and release processes.
• Guide and mentor engineers on DevOps practices, automation standards, and code quality.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar tools.
• Ensure environments meet security, availability, performance, and cost standards, and manage IAM, secrets, and network configuration.
• Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for production issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Required Skill & Qualification:

• 5+ years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in AWS DevOps.
• 2+ years of experience leading or managing application development or DevOps teams.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, Lambda, ECS or EKS, and CloudWatch.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or CDK.
• Good working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
  Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Good understanding of the application development lifecycle, microservices, and release management.
• Working knowledge of Agile delivery and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• AWS certification, such as DevOps Engineer Professional or Solutions Architect, is preferred.
