Position Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated AWS Developer to join our Cloud & DevSecOps team. This role is ideal for a passionate technologist with hands-on experience in cloud-native development and operations on AWS. As a senior contributor, you will play a key role in onboarding cloud applications, optimizing operations, and guiding junior developers in agile delivery. Key Responsibilities Cloud Lifecycle Management Contribute to the onboarding, configuration, and ongoing operations of AWS cloud applications. Develop reusable components and automation scripts to support end-to-end lifecycle management of cloud-hosted applications. DevSecOps Enablement Support DevSecOps teams by developing tools and scripts that enhance CI/CD pipelines, improve deployment automation, and ensure operational excellence. Collaborate across internal teams to implement secure, scalable, and efficient cloud infrastructure solutions. Security & Compliance Ensure all cloud solutions adhere to CirrusLabs' and client-defined security policies and compliance frameworks. Integrate security controls as part of application architecture and CI/CD workflows. Mentorship & Leadership Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and team members. Assist in code reviews, solution design, and troubleshooting complex issues in production and non-production environments. Agile and DevOps Practices Follow Agile methodologies, tools, and best practices to plan, develop, test, and deliver software features in an iterative manner. Take part in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement efforts. Collaboration & Innovation Adopt a Growth Mindset —be proactive in identifying and implementing improvements in development processes and team collaboration. Actively contribute to solving business and technical challenges with creativity and accountability. Required Skills & Experience 5–8 years of relevant experience in software development with a focus on AWS cloud platforms. Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, CloudFormation, ECS/EKS, IAM, and RDS/DynamoDB. Proficient in Python, Node.js, or Java for backend development. Experience in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or AWS CDK. Expertise in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Knowledge of DevSecOps principles, including automated security scanning and secure code development. Familiarity with Agile frameworks (Scrum/Kanban) and DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence, Git, Docker, etc. Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certification (Developer Associate / Solutions Architect Associate or higher). Experience working with global teams and clients.
