AWS Data Engineer

You are needed to join the Media Data Engineering team as a Senior Data Engineer. Your primary responsibilities will include: - Building, maintaining, and enhancing the data infrastructure that currently manages billions of advertising events per hour - Designing and implementing both streaming and batch pipelines for data ingestion and delivery - Managing a data warehouse for business and technical stakeholders - Contributing to GumGum's proprietary machine-learning forecasting systems - Developing scripts and APIs to cater to internal and external reporting requirements - Exploring and evaluating emerging data technologies - Regularly collaborating with cross-functional teams - Taking the lead in designing medium to large projects with input from other engineers, leveraging an architectural perspective Your qualifications should include: - At least 4 years of experience in data engineering or software engineering - A minimum of 4 years of experience building data applications using Scala, Java, and Python - Proficiency in distributed data processing with Apache Spark - Proficiency in SQL and modern data warehouse platforms such as Snowflake, Redshift, Big Query, or Synapse - Proficiency in workflow management platforms like Airflow, AWS Data Pipeline, Luigi, or Prefect - Experience in designing data models, warehouses, and ETL pipelines - Experience with streaming technologies, especially Kafka, would be a plus - At least 2 years of experience with AWS Feel free to apply if you meet the above requirements and are excited about contributing to our team's success.,
