AWS Data Engineer

As an AWS Data Engineer with 1.6 to 6 years of experience, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows on AWS. Your expertise in Snowflake, Python, and SQL will be crucial as you process, transform, and analyze data. You will work towards optimizing existing data architectures to ensure high performance and cost efficiency while integrating data from multiple sources into a unified data warehouse. Collaboration with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders is essential to meet data requirements effectively. You will implement data governance, quality checks, and best practices to enhance data engineering processes. Leveraging AWS services like Redshift and Lambda for data processing tasks will be part of your routine tasks. Additionally, utilizing DBT for data modeling and transformation in the ELT framework will enhance your efficiency in the role. Troubleshooting data pipeline issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring the smooth functioning of data processes will be critical aspects of your job. Your mandatory skills in Snowflake, Python, SQL, and AWS Glue will be put to good use. Moreover, having experience in DBT, Redshift, and Lambda will be advantageous.
