AWS Data Engineer AWS Glue Developer

Role Overview: As an AWS Data Engineer (Glue Developer) with 6-8 years of experience, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, and SQL. You will be expected to have strong data modeling skills and hands-on experience with various AWS services. Your excellent communication and collaboration skills will be crucial for success in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue (Jobs, Crawlers, Workflows). - Write efficient, production-grade Python and SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Build and optimize data models for analytical and operational workloads. - Integrate and manage data ingestion from multiple AWS accounts securely using cross-account roles and policies. - Work with AWS services including S3, EC2 (IaaS), IAM, and Database Migration Services (DMS). - Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across environments. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Glue jobs for performance and cost efficiency. - Document ETL processes, data flows, and architecture for team reference. - Communicate technical information effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Strong proficiency in Python and SQL. - Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and AWS S3. - Familiarity with AWS OpenSearch Service and AWS Secret Manager would be beneficial.
