AWS Data Engineer AWS Glue Developer

You are an experienced AWS Data Engineer (Glue Developer) with 6-8 years of experience, specializing in building and managing ETL pipelines using AWS Glue, Python, and SQL. Your expertise in data modeling, hands-on knowledge of AWS services, and experience in working with multi-account AWS environments are key to succeeding in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable ETL pipelines using AWS Glue (Jobs, Crawlers, Workflows). - Write efficient, production-grade Python and SQL code for data extraction, transformation, and loading. - Build and optimize data models for analytical and operational workloads. - Integrate and manage data ingestion from multiple AWS accounts securely using cross-account roles and policies. - Work with AWS services including S3, EC2 (IaaS), IAM, and Database Migration Services (DMS). - Collaborate with architects, analysts, and business users to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions. - Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across environments. - Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Glue jobs for performance and cost efficiency. - Document ETL processes, data flows, and architecture for team reference. - Communicate technical information effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
