Overview:

Lead Data Engineer / Technical Lead

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end migration projects including planning, design, execution, testing, and go-live.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and migration goals.
• Conduct environment assessments to estimate migration scope and complexity.
• Architect and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud migration strategies.
• Migrate on-premise applications, databases, and data warehouses to AWS.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability of cloud-based workloads.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members throughout migration efforts.
• Identify and resolve technical challenges in the migration lifecycle.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure, DevOps, and security aspects.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes and best practices.

Qualifications:

• 58 years of experience in data engineering and migration projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift).
• Proficiency in PySpark, SQL, and ETL/Data Warehousing methodologies.
• Proven ability to work on large data volumes and perform complex transformations.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
