Role The primary objective of the Food Safety Officer is to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standards, including technical aspects such as fire and electrical safety. This serves as a proactive measure to guarantee the continued delivery of safe food products and services to our customers. Responsibilities Conduct food safety audits to warehouses once a month minimum or whenever required Maintain documentation, such as SOPs, manuals, policies and procedures relate to ISO 22000, FSSAI Schedule 4 and other standards. Provide training of food safety (ISO 22000 & FSSAI Schedule-4) of all depot staff, sales team. Monitor and verify activities to ensure that Handling ,Receiving, storage, Rework, Quality check, Treatment and dispatch of AWL food products is meeting the food safety standards. He is responsible and authorized to provide clearance schedule-based pest control service Provide training to transporter about requirement of food safety within FSSAI Schedule-4. Serve as the lead for product recall communications and regulatory inspections. Assign microbial guidelines and specifications for all products. ZFSTL will responsible and ensure quarterly & annually (minimum frequency) MRM review Preferred candidate profile 3+ years of experience in food safety is preferred (FMCG shall be an added advantage) MBA into a related field is preferred Zonal experience in handling Maharashtra and Gujarat Depots
