SKILLS & COMPETENCIES Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. A comprehensive understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes, from core warehousing (inbound, inventory control, outbound) to last-mile delivery dynamics Knowledge of asset lifecycle management, vendor coordination, and preventive maintenance schedules. A strong commitment to and understanding of workplace health and safety protocols within a warehouse and fleet environment. The ability to map, analyse, and re-engineer complex operational processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service quality. Proficiency in extracting and manipulating data using complex analysis in Advanced Excel (e.g., Pivot Tables, Power Query), and creating insightful dashboards with tools like Tableau or Power BI will be an advantage. Hands-on experience or the ability to quickly learn core supply chain software, including Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Transportation Management Systems (TMS) / Route Optimization Software. A strong, data-driven approach to identifying the root cause of problems. Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean Six Sigma, is a significant advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the confidence to present complex solutions and data-driven findings to clients, team members, and senior management. Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal departments, external clients, and third-party vendors to achieve common goals. JOB PURPOSE The FP&A assistant manager is to prepare business performance by developing financial models, managing budgeting and forecasting, analysing results, and supporting key strategic initiatives. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Lead or support the annual budget, forecasts, and long-range financial planning activities. Build and maintain detailed financial models for business units and projects. Conduct variance analysis, identify risks, opportunities, and trends, and present findings to management. Prepare regular financial reports, dashboards, and ad-hoc analyses for strategic decision-making. Work closely with cross-functional teams to align financial plans and goals. Continuously improve FP&A processes, systems, and reporting efficiency. Support evaluation of investments, mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic initiatives. Assist management with scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and strategic planning QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE MBA Finance / CA semi-qualified with 3-year experience in a similar role CA qualified with 0-1year of experience, in a similar role Strong financial modelling, forecasting, and analytical skills. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and problem-solving ability Proficient in Tally accounting software and advanced Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables).
