AVP Fund Research

As an Assistant Vice President Fund Research at HSBC in the Wealth & Personal Banking business, you will play a crucial role in high-quality fund research and selection across multi asset funds. Your responsibilities will include conducting in-depth investment due diligence, monitoring the multi asset fund shelf, preparing thought leadership material, participating in fund selection committees, and collaborating with local fund specialists and frontline teams. To excel in this role, you should have at least 7 years of experience in the Funds / Asset Management industry with exposure to equity, fixed income, or multi assets. Professional qualifications such as CFA, FRM, MBA, or Masters with Finance specialization are considered a positive. You should possess practical knowledge and experience of financial markets, macroeconomic environment, risk management, regulations, and their application to the equity markets. An analytical mindset, attention to detail, and good writing and communication skills are essential for success in this position.
