Job Description: Cashier - Irish Sandwich Cafe, Hyderabad Airport Position Title: Cashier Experience : 1 - 2 Years Location: Irish Sandwich Cafe, Hyderabad Airport Reports To: Shift Supervisor / Café / Duty Manager Position Summary: The Cashier is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately handling transactions, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area. This role is crucial in ensuring a positive dining experience for customers at the Irish Sandwich Cafe at Hyderabad Airport. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Greet customers warmly and ensure a welcoming atmosphere. Provide information on menu items, promotions, and services offered. Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns promptly and courteously. Transaction Handling: Accurately process customer transactions using the point of sale (POS) system. Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of transactions securely. Issue receipts, refunds, or change due to customers. Ensure the accuracy of the cash register balance at the beginning and end of the shift. Order Management: Take customer orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen staff. Ensure orders are prepared correctly and delivered promptly to customers. Maintain communication with the kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient service. Cash Register Management: Perform cash register audits and reconcile daily sales. Report any discrepancies in the cash register to the Shift Supervisor or Cafe Manager. Follow all cash handling and security procedures to prevent theft or loss. Promotions and Upselling: Inform customers about ongoing promotions and special offers. Suggest additional menu items or upgrades to enhance the customer experience. Promote loyalty programs and encourage repeat business. Cleanliness and Maintenance: Keep the cashier area clean, organized, and well-stocked. Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area and customer service counters. Follow all health and safety regulations to maintain a hygienic environment. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Assist with other duties as required, such as stocking supplies, preparing drinks, or clearing tables. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as needed. Reporting: Prepare and submit shift reports detailing sales, transactions, and any issues encountered. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the Shift Supervisor or Cafe Manager. Communicate any customer feedback or suggestions to the management team. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹17,000.00 per month Benefits: Provident Fund Work Location: In person
