As an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer working on the design, development, and implementation of propulsion, robotics, and guidance subsystems for satellites in India, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful development of various satellite subsystems. Your role will involve developing hardware and interfaces and witnessing their deployment in space. Your key responsibilities will include: - Interacting with multiple subsystem teams to gather embedded systems-related requirements and analyzing them thoroughly. - Designing and developing hardware while considering the form-factor and environmental constraints of Space. - Taking ownership of component selection, design analysis, schematics, layout design, prototyping, board bring-up, debugging, verification and validation, and design documentation. - Collaborating with firmware and checkout engineers to design, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware/software issues during integration and validation. - Designing solutions that adhere to standards for EMC, Space Radiation Susceptibility, Thermals, Vacuum, Vibration & Shock. Qualifications required for this role: - Minimum of 2+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 1+ years of relevant experience with a Master's Degree in related engineering fields. - Experience in Embedded Systems and Real-Time Systems development. - Proficiency with professional CAD software such as Altium Designer. - Familiarity with Hardware Architecture Development, Schematic Design, and Calculations. - Basic proficiency in Python, Embedded C, or relevant scripting languages for understanding and analyzing firmware. - Experience working with various hardware tools and components such as DMMs, Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, Power Supplies, Function Generators, ADCs, DACs, Switching Circuits, Analog Amplifiers and Filters, Microcontrollers, communication protocols, physical layers, and git version control. Good-to-have skills for this role include an advanced degree in Engineering or Science (masters), familiarity with Industry Standards for Aerospace / Automotive Electronics and Electrical Systems, proficiency with communication protocols and physical layers such as SpaceWire, MIL-STD-1553, Ethernet, PCB Thermal Analysis Software/Tools, and experience working with MDOs, Spectrum Analyzers, etc. As an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer working on the design, development, and implementation of propulsion, robotics, and guidance subsystems for satellites in India, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the successful development of various satellite subsystems.
