Job Location : Faridabad, Haryana. Job Purpose: Senior Manager (Technical Services) will lead Technical Services for lubricants, greases and esters to all sectors that the company operates in. S/he will provide technical expertise and support to customers, sales teams, and internal functions. S/he will be responsible for product development, quality control, and ensuring customer satisfaction through technical assistance and training. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including global R&D, suppliers, and customers, to address technical challenges, develop new products, and improve existing ones. Key Responsibilities: • To represent Avi-Oil externally with customers, suppliers and partners and to create a positive external image of the Company. • Technical Support: o Providing expert advice and assistance to customers, addressing technical queries, troubleshooting issues, and conducting technical evaluations. • Product Development: o Contributing to the development of new products and applications, working with R&D and customers. • Quality Management: o Ensuring products meet quality standards, managing blending facilities, and maintaining quality control processes. Responsible for maintaining the Quality standards and certifications of the company. • Client Engagement: o Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, serving as the technical point of contact. • Training and Development: o Developing and delivering training programs for internal staff and external partners on esters / lubricants and their applications. • OEM Support: o Collaborating with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) to obtain product approvals and endorsements, ensuring compatibility and performance. • Market Intelligence: o Monitoring market trends, identifying customer needs, and staying abreast of industry developments. • Technical Literature and Documentation: o Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including data sheets and brochures, to support product use and application. Supplier Liaison: o Working with additive suppliers and other vendors to ensure the quality and availability of raw materials and components. • Team Management: o Leading and mentoring technical support teams, providing guidance and support to ensure effective performance. • Cost Optimization: o Contributing to the development of cost-effective lubricant formulations and processes. • Continuous Improvement: o Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. o Correspond with Nyco Technical team on technical matters. o To Lead and assist with projects as required by the company Learning and development: • Technical skills – product knowledge & product application knowledge (Industrial & Aviation) • Analytical skills. • Training skills • Organizational skills. • Mentoring Skills • Change management.
