Responsibilities: Engage directly with customers to provide 2D/3D drawings using various tools including AutoCAD and/or REVIT. Review documentation and details provided by the customer to convert to meaningful audiovisual flow diagrams and architectural drawings set. Estimate labor required to perform drafting work based on the information provided by the customer. Build and maintain a library of blocks and details using AutoCAD/REVIT for internal AVDL use as well as specific customer requirements. Keep up to date on various audiovisual products in the market and provide feedback and input to team members on roadmap requirements and product direction. Communicate with clients by email and phone and maintain turnaround times and deadlines set by the customers. Collect customer feedback, enhancements, and feature requests and disseminate findings to team leaders to continuously improve our product offerings. Participates in team meetings for education and product strategies. Attends tradeshows and marketing events as needed. Requirements: A pleasing personality with a strong ambition to have fun while working is a must. If you can be productive while having fun, well, that will be an added advantage. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is preferred but not required 1+ years of drafting/design engineering or equivalent experience in a rapidly changing needed dynamic environment. Proven ability to communicate effectively via telephone and email with customers. Experience in working with key buying personas like HR, IT, Sales, and Marketing preferred. Proficiency with Autodesk products including but not limited to AutoCAD/REVIT, Microsoft Office products, and the Internet.
