Automotive Performance Lead Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the QCT Automotive Software team responsible for developing embedded system-on-chip solutions for Connected Infotainment. Your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Conducting architectural analysis and modeling to forecast CPU/MIPS, bus bandwidth, and memory utilization for current and next-generation chipsets - Performing detailed analysis of existing software to provide recommendations for performance improvement and memory utilization enhancements - Developing tools for silicon profiling, validation, and debugging across all SOC components - Identifying benchmarks for performance qualification, defining goals, and optimization strategies To qualify for this role, you should meet the following minimum qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field with 8+ years of Software Engineering experience - Strong expertise in Programming Languages such as C, C++ - Proficiency in Linux kernel, device drivers, ARM architecture, RTOS, Hypervisor, Virtualization, and strong C/C++ working knowledge Additionally, you should have 8+ years of industry experience in performance optimizations related to CPUs, GPU, DDR, Sensor, and MM Benchmarks analysis. Exposure to heterogeneous computing, co-processor architecture, and embedded system architecture with RTOS experience will be beneficial. Your knowledge in real-time microprocessor-based embedded programming and computer system architecture will be essential for this role.
