Automotive Performance Lead Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be part of the QCT Automotive Software team responsible for designing embedded solutions for Connected Infotainment systems. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting architectural analysis and modeling to forecast CPU/MIPS, bus bandwidth, and memory utilization for current and future chipsets - Performing detailed analysis of existing software to provide recommendations for performance improvement and memory utilization - Developing tools for silicon profiling, validation, and debugging across all SOC components - Identifying benchmarks for Performance Qualification and defining optimization goals Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field - 8+ years of Software Engineering experience - Strong proficiency in Programming Languages like C, C++ - Familiarity with Linux kernel, device drivers, ARM architecture, RTOS, Hypervisor, and Virtualization Additionally, you should have 8+ years of industry experience in areas such as performance optimizations, CPUs, GPU, DDR, Sensor, and MM Benchmarks analysis. Experience in embedded system architecture, C/C++ programming, and knowledge of real-time operating systems is also crucial for this role.
