Job Description

As a Qualcomm Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, creating, modifying, and validating embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs. Your work will contribute to launching cutting-edge, world-class products that exceed customer expectations. Collaboration with systems, hardware, architecture, test engineers, and other teams is essential to design system-level software solutions and gather information on performance requirements and interfaces. **Key Responsibilities:** - 1-3 years of work experience in embedded software and/or driver. - Detail-oriented with strong analytic and problem-solving skills, highly organized. - Proficient in C/C++ programming and ARM assembly language. - Solid understanding of overall embedded system architecture. - Experience in 2D and 3D graphics technology and standards such as OpenGL, OpenGL ES/EGL, Vulkan. - Familiarity with multimedia on embedded systems and the use of graphics in a highly integrated system. - Knowledge or experience in using the GPU as a compute engine, including GPGPU and OpenCL. - Proficiency in virtualization technologies across CPU and MM hardware accelerators. - Expertise in GPU optimization, advanced rendering, and latency optimizations, with the ability to identify and isolate performance issues in graphics applications. - Experience in designing and implementing modern 3D graphics applications using the OpenGLES API is a plus. - Familiarity with writing vertex and fragment shaders using shading languages such as GLSL is a plus. - Knowledge in one or more of the following operating systems is preferred: Android, QNX, embedded Linux, Genivi, Integrity. - Understanding of Graphics frameworks like Kanzi, QT, is an advantage. - Fluent in industry-standard software tools: SW/HW debuggers, code revision control systems (GIT, Perforce), IDEs, and build tools. - Strong communication skills (written and verbal) for effective collaboration with teams across multiple time zones. - A passion for excellence in programming and exceeding goals. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer and/or Electrical Engineering. - Master's degree in Computer Engineering and/or Computer and/or Electrical Engineering is preferred.,
