Automotive Audio Systems and Tuning Engineer

As a talented and highly motivated engineer specializing in the implementation and tuning of Digital Signal Processing (DSP) algorithms and Machine Learning (ML) models for next-generation in-vehicle audio experiences at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will be a valuable member of the Audio Systems and R&D team. Your role will involve designing, developing, and optimizing DSP algorithms for automotive audio applications such as noise reduction, echo cancellation, audio enhancement, and Zonal Voice. Additionally, you will implement and tune Machine Learning models and audio signal processing modules, integrating them into embedded platforms to ensure real-time performance and robustness. Your key responsibilities will include: - Working with ACQUA, Audio Precision, and other analyzers to objectively assess and tune audio quality - Collaborating with cross-functional teams for algorithm integration and productization - Performing root cause analysis and debugging of audio system issues, proposing and implementing effective solutions - Documenting all stages of development, from requirements and specifications to implementation and test reports To excel in this role, you must have: - Strong programming experience in Embedded C and real-time DSP - Basic understanding of Python and Machine Learning - Previous experience with DSP algorithm design and implementation for audio applications - Hands-on experience with audio analysis and measurement tools - Training and tuning ML models for audio signal processing - Solid understanding of audio performance metrics and evaluation methodologies Qualifications for this position include: - Master's or PhD in Electronics and Communication, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science (with Signal Processing coursework or experience), or a related field - Knowledge of automotive infotainment systems, automotive standards, Qualcomm SDKs, and tools - Excellent problem-solving and communication skills - Ability to work independently and in teams across functions and locations If you are passionate about audio DSP, ML, and automotive compliance and standards, and have innovative ideas to contribute to a dynamic team, Qualcomm India Private Limited encourages you to apply for this exciting opportunity.,
