Role Overview: You are being offered a position as a Senior Test Automation Engineer at Novature Tech Pvt Ltd in Chennai. You will be responsible for Automation Testing using Selenium and Web services for a contract period of 6 months. Key Responsibilities: - Utilize Automation Testing tools such as Selenium and Web services to ensure efficient testing processes - Develop and maintain test scripts using Java and JavaScript - Implement Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) framework like Cucumber and JBehave - Work in Agile Methodologies to deliver high-quality software products - Utilize Junit for testing purposes - Debug code and handle exceptions effectively - Perform API calls through jar and capture responses - Willingness to work in 2nd shifts from 1pm to 10pm - Possess strong English communication skills - Develop Automation Test plans and strategies effectively - Knowledge in SQL will be considered an added advantage Qualifications Required: - Minimum 4 years of experience in Automation Testing using Selenium and Web services - Proficient in Java programming language - Hands-on experience in BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and JBehave - Familiarity with Agile Methodologies - Experience with Junit testing framework - Ability to debug code and handle exceptions efficiently - Strong knowledge of API calls and response capturing - Openness to working in 2nd shifts - Excellent English communication skills - Understanding of Automation Test plan and strategy development - Knowledge in SQL will be an added advantage,
