Job Description

As an Automation Test Engineer at our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web applications by designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks. Your responsibilities will include collaborating closely with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to deliver high-performing software solutions. Key tasks will involve designing and implementing automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java, developing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using TestNG or JUnit, and performing functional, regression, and smoke testing across various browsers and platforms. You will also be responsible for integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab, analyzing test results, identifying defects, and providing detailed reports. Furthermore, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage, maintain test documentation, contribute to test strategy and planning, and continuously improve automation practices while staying updated with industry trends. To be successful in this role, you should have strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java, proficiency in TestNG, JUnit, and Maven/Gradle build tools, experience with XPath, CSS selectors, and dynamic element handling, familiarity with Page Object Model (POM) and other design patterns, and version control using Git and repository platforms like GitHub or Bitbucket. Additionally, experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, or other CI/CD tools would be beneficial.
