Automation Test Engineer_Playwright

The responsibilities of this role include designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for UI and API testing. You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to ensure high-quality releases. Participation in sprint planning and continuous integration activities is essential. You will integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline and report bugs/failures of applications in a timely manner. Close collaboration with the development team to understand the root cause of issues is also required. To qualify for this position, you must hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 2-3+ years of experience in software testing with a focus on test automation is necessary. Strong knowledge of UI automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, etc., and programming languages like Java, Javascript, Typescript, Groovy, etc., is required. Basic knowledge of version control tools like git, bitbucket, and good understanding of API testing using RestAssured or similar tools/libraries are essential. Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred. Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills are also important for this role.
