Automation Test Engineer - Robot Framework

As an Automation Test Engineer in our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automation frameworks using Robot Automation Framework (RAF) for API testing or Selenium for UI testing. Your role will involve enhancing existing frameworks to improve efficiency and test coverage, developing comprehensive automated test scripts based on functional and non-functional requirements, and executing automated test suites to analyze results and report defects. You will also perform regression testing, smoke testing, and integration testing to ensure the quality of our software products. In this role, you will work on developing and executing automated API tests using RAF or similar tools, validating API responses, data integrity, and performance. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated UI tests using Selenium, ensuring cross-browser compatibility, and responsiveness of web applications. Your tasks will also include writing and executing SQL queries to validate data integrity and perform database testing. Collaboration is a key aspect of this role, as you will work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure adequate test coverage. You will communicate test results and defect reports effectively, participate in code reviews, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Furthermore, you will assist in the development of test plans and strategies, estimate testing effort and timelines, and play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our software products. Mandatory Skills: - Strong proficiency in Automation Testing using Robot Automation Framework (RAF) for API testing OR Selenium for UI testing. - Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java or Python. - Experience writing and executing SQL queries. - Knowledge of test automation tools like TOSCA or Ranorex. - Experience working within the banking domain. Good To Have Tool Knowledge: - TOSCA - Ranorex Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - Proven experience in automation testing within the banking domain is highly preferred. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
