As an IFC - Automation QA Playwright at Barclays, you will play a crucial role in spearheading the evolution of the company's infrastructure and deployment pipelines. Your primary responsibility will be to drive innovation and operational excellence by harnessing cutting-edge technology to build and manage robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure, ensuring the seamless delivery of digital solutions. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies to validate software functionality and ensure compliance with quality standards. - Create and execute automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools to detect defects and quality issues early. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, participate in design discussions, and contribute to the development of acceptance criteria. - Conduct root cause analysis for identified defects, working closely with developers to support defect resolution. - Participate in code reviews, promote a culture of code quality, and share knowledge with peers. - Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and contribute to the organization's technology communities. Qualifications Required: - Hands-on experience with API and UI testing using Playwright. - Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java. - Knowledge of Performance testing using tools like load runner or jmeter is a plus. - Ability to perform manual testing as required. The role is based out of Pune.
