Automation QA Engineer(Playwright)

Role Overview: As a Test Engineer at WPP, your responsibilities will include analyzing business requirements, designing test cases, and performing formal and exploratory testing. You will be tasked with automating end-to-end tests using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript, executing both automated and manual test cases, and reviewing test cases and auto tests. Collaborating with developers to identify the root cause of issues and working with the DevOps team to ensure stable test environments will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will need to effectively communicate complex issues to both Business and Technical teams and report test results to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Analyze business requirements and design test cases - Perform formal and exploratory testing - Automate end-to-end tests using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript - Execute both automated and manual test cases - Review test cases and auto tests - Collaborate with developers to identify the root cause of issues - Work with the DevOps team to ensure stable test environments - Communicate complex issues to both Business and Technical teams - Report test results to stakeholders Qualifications Required: - 3-5 years of proven experience as a test engineer - Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes - Previous experience as a QA Engineer or in a similar role - Expertise in testing complex web applications - Knowledge of Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript - Experience in implementing and maintaining test automation frameworks - Familiarity with CI/CD tooling like Gitlab CI - Expertise in API testing using tools like Postman - Ability to lead testing activities during Sprint/Release cycles - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Attention to detail and the ability to identify issues and inconsistencies (Note: The additional details of the company provided in the job description have been omitted from the Job Description as per your request),
