Automation QA Eng II

The role of OS Test Automation requires automation skills with Python and BDD, as well as experience working with Smart TVs, Set-top Box (STB), and Multimedia Products. You should have knowledge of wireless networking, including configuring and testing routers, and be familiar with streaming video and audio analysis. Your responsibilities will involve subjective and objective audio and video qualification, as well as knowledge of audio and video codecs and OTT application testing. Additionally, you should be well-versed in broadcasting standards such as ATSC, DVB, and MPEG. As an OS Test Automation engineer, you will be expected to write and execute test plans for consumer electronics products, work with home networking functionality, and have experience with automation frameworks and writing scripts. A good understanding of the software development life cycle and various testing techniques is essential. You must be willing to execute test procedures to verify functionality against specifications and product requirements, while possessing excellent verbal and written communication skills. The ideal candidate should hold a BE/B.Tech degree in E&C, CS, or equivalent and be familiar with tools like JIRA, TestRail, or other bug tracking and test management tools. Your job responsibilities will include assisting in ensuring end-to-end validation of new functionality, troubleshooting issues to their root cause, and automating test cases. You will be responsible for reviewing software requirements, preparing test scenarios, executing tests on software usability, and analyzing test results for errors or bugs. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare reports on all aspects related to software testing and interact with clients to understand product requirements.
